This year's list of collectible and limited-edition records from some of the biggest and most exciting names in music is finally yours.
Hundreds of artists have come together to celebrate the UK's independent record shops, including the likes of Sam Fender, Oasis, Taylor Swift, Charli Xcx, Goat & Graveyard, The Jesus & Mary Chain and many more!
Not only that, but music fans can expect a variety of special releases spanning rock, pop, soul, jazz, hip-hop, reggae, classical, and folk - plus three Harry Potter soundtracks. There's something for everyone to enjoy at their local record store this April.
"For Record Store Day this year in April, we are gonna continue the IRL vinyl series by printing the the Actual Life Piano Lives to vinyl for the first time. This vinyl series is always gonna be limited pressings of live moments that felt particularly special and these are some of my favourite things we’ve done.
Buttttt we only ever made the piano lives for AL2 and AL3 and so many of you were asking for AL1, so 4 years after the original Actual Life album came out on Record Store Day in 2021, I’ve recorded the actual life 1 piano live a few weeks ago. We are working wit Vinyl Factory (who did all the other IRL vinyl) to produce something really special. The record will be available on 12th April for record store day in all the stores taking part.”
Also celebrating Record Store Day, get ready for titles from the likes of Beabadoobee, Charli XCX, Rachel Chinouriri, Confidence Man, The Cure, English Teacher, Michael Kiwanuka and RSD25 Ambassador Sam Fender. Also joining the lineup, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Lil Uzi Vert, Megan Thee Stallion, MJ Lenderman, and Post Malone will be releasing titles for music-lovers all over the UK.
With so many more artists releasing exclusive titles in support of the UK independant record shop scene, keep your eyes on our website and socials to never miss an update!
