The BBC 6 Music Festival took place in Bristol this weekend (12th-14th February). Record shops Bridport Music, The Drift Record Shop, Pie & Vinyl, Plates and Rise Bristol formed the event's independent record fair at The Trinity Centre offering festival goers the chance to dig in their crates and find some musical goodies. It was a very busy weekend but a lot of fun for all involved - here are some highlights of the weekend below:
Firstly, there were records hanging on trees. I mean, if only that was actually a thing.
Here's Steve and Rhys from Rise Bristol. Those guys.
John Grant record shopping at Pie & Vinyl
Here's Steph manning the fort at the Bridport stall
And they managed to nab a lovely signed record from Julian Cope
Here's some of the cool stuff Plates had to offer
And here's Liz Kershaw having a dig! Doesn't she look happy.
These lovely guys were serving up lots of yummy pies all day
And here's Shaun Keaveny enjoying said Pie
Our pals Drift also came along. They brought this nice light and a plant. Very important FYI.
And this was our little set up all together at the Trinity Centre. Aww.
